Overview:
The Pelican Watertight Case with Foam (1520), or Padded Dividers (1524), is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant, and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer polypropylene, which makes it extremely strong and durable. It includes a 0.25" (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly, and an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. The 1520 variant comes with a Pick-N-Pluckā¢ foam. This foam is pre-cut which allows you to customize the interior by half-inch cubes. Trace out the item you want in the case and simply pluck the foam out by hand, no tools required. The 1524 variant includes a 15-piece padded divider set consisting of one tray, four long, 10 short padded and flexible dividers. This crushproof case meets ATA standards for transit cases, is NATO-codified, and is tested to MIL C-4150J (Military Standard) and IP-67 (Ingress Protection). The 3-piece replacement foam set consists of one "egg crate" foam upper section, one Pick 'N' Pluck foam section and one 1.0" blank bottom foam section, while the Padded Dividers set is partnered with an "egg crate" foam for the upper section.
